The Wrestlingworth Goodwill Fund has had a busy summer making final preparations for our annual fete, which took place on Saturday 2nd September. All the hard work paid off and the sun shone beautifully for our afternoon of games, entertainment and plentiful food and drink! We were very fortunate to be supported by so many wonderful local residents, organisations and Friends of Goodwill – without which the fete would not have been possible. Our thank yous go out to everyone who supported us in securing raffle prizes, offering donations, distributing programmes, selling raffle tickets, baking cakes, setting up the field, running a stall, providing entertainment in the ring, serving tea and cakes and of course, helping with the big clear up at the end of the day. We are also incredibly grateful for the local support shown in purchasing raffle tickets and coming along on the day to enjoy what was on offer; we hope you all had a great afternoon! We raised an incredible £2,000 (approximately), which will all go back into the work we do to support our villages across the year.

Our next event will be the Goodwill Fund Quiz, which takes place on Saturday 18th November at Wrestlingworth Memorial Hall (7.30pm start). We look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible.
